Biopharmaceutical

Iron Construction, Inc. works with most of the major Biopharmaceutical companies in the Greater Bay Area. We are known for our expertise in addressing the specialized needs (such as understanding the critical consequences of any unscheduled shutdowns and the requirement of strict adherence to facility protocol) and characteristics of these facilities which are often beyond the scope of other construction firms. Our knowledge of FDA guidelines and Validation procedures within controlled spaces makes us the contractor of choice.

Iron coordinates all construction activities and details including Facilities activities in a detailed schedule. Whether the project is during a scheduled PM shutdown or in an operating facility, Iron projects are successful.

Microelectronics

A proven builder of Microelectronic construction, Iron Construction, Inc.'s knowledge of clean-room construction (class 1 -10,000) is top of the class. We take the lead from the initial concept, coordinating end-user specifications with MEP design (power, air, process piping, controls, etc.) including temperature control, particulate control, air-balance and testing, and general clean room construction, through clean-room certification.

Existing work flow is coordinated with the use of temporary clean-room walls systems. Our time-tested OCRP (occupied clean-room protocol) prevents down time and lost productivity for our clients.

Tenant Improvements

Tenant Improvement projects involve a lot of players — city officials, architects, tenants and their vendors, landlords and their vendors, and the general contractor and their subcontractors. It is the General Contractor's responsibility to maintain the schedule, control the budget, and balance tenant and landlord needs. It's possible to achieve all this, and on Iron projects — it's the norm!

Our detailed construction schedule identifies ALL work associated with completing the project — we even track (and coordinate) vendors for both the landlord and tenant — ensuring a seamless construction experience. Iron prepares detailed budgets that provide tenants a "shopping list" for items in their space. Tracking lease hold improvement costs separate from capital improvement costs (right down to management, insurance and fees) is no problem with our state-of-the-art accounting system.

Facilities Support and Maintenance

We do the little stuff too! What better way to get to know a contractor then on a smaller, less risky project? We adjust doors, hang curtains and white boards, provide in-house individual moves as well as coordinate large, division moves. We will work closely with your on-site facilities manager in order to eliminate any interruptions to your daily operations. We feature the following facilities support and maintenance capabilities:
