Project Overview
Iron Construction was delighted to perform work for Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the world’s leading research-driven pharmaceutical companies. This project consisted of installation of high impact FRP along interior cleanroom corridors in various locations. FRP was chosen for this project to protect the walls from carts and tanks that roll down corridors, avoiding damage to the walls. When comparing FRP to paint, FRP is the viable choice due to its durability and prevention of particle emission and microbial growth. Plus, it gives an edge over other standard materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, PVC or polypropylene.
